July 17-23, 2011

Welcome to the Hendricks County 4-H and Agricultural Fair and Conference Complex Website!  At this time, the entire 2011 4-H Fair Board and staff would like to encourage you to visit our site and take a look at the 2011 upcoming Fair schedule and coming events.

This year’s Fair theme is…The Race Is On!  Along with that we hope you will race over to our Fairgrounds and see what all Hendricks County has to offer you and your family.

Mark Lowry, a Christian based performer, will be headlining our Pre-Fair entertainment on Saturday, July 16th.  Ticket information is available on this site.  Keeping with the racing theme, Swifty Swine is a new addition to our Fair schedule and we really think it will be a hit with everyone.  I won’t go into details, but hopefully this tease will get everyone’s interest to take in a race or two during the week of the Fair.

And don’t forget to check out all of the 4-H projects and shows.  These kids and their animals have been working hard all year to win the judge’s eye.  So, please make it a priority to stop by the barns, our NSSB Show Arena and the 4-H project area in the Auditorium in the Conference Center.

Entertainment, racing, food and 4-H!  Hopefully we have covered something for everyone.

Congratulations Maddy! Madeline Hayden, the 2014 Hendricks County 4-H Fair Queen and a freshman at Purdue University studying speech, language and hearing sciences, won the title of Indiana State Queen Sunday, December 4, at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. According to State Fair officials, Hayden, 18, became the first woman from Hendricks County to win the title since the State Fair began crowning a queen in 1958. Below is a link to the Indy Star article by Justin Mack. Congratulations Maddy and good luck on this new adventure!
