2021 4-H Queen Contest

Join us Saturday, July 10th for the 2021 4-H Queen Contest!

*Tentative schedule of events

Tuesday, June 1 – Applications due for the 4-H Fair Queen Contest

Thursday, June 3 at 6:30 pm – Orientation with parent or guardian with the contestant

Thursday, June 10 at 6:30 pm - Make-up, hair and clothing discussion will be emphasized at this meeting and practice modeling.

Thursday, June 17 at 6:30 pm – Interviews will be discussed and practiced during this workshop. Remember interviews are 50% of your score.

Thursday, June 24, at 6:30 pm – Interview practice.

Thursday, July 1, at 6:30 pm – Practice on the Runway! If you need help on modeling, interviews or other aspects we will stay until you are comfortable

Tuesday, July 6, at 6:30 pm – Practice on the Runway! If you need help on modeling, interviews or other aspects we will stay until you are comfortable

Thursday, July 8, at 6:30 pm - PIZZA PARTY! Walk through the program. This is the only mandatory meeting prior to the contest which allows everyone to confirm the activities and details of the event. Plan is to be done within two hours. Plan on wearing the shoes that you will wear in the contest. You'll be placed on risers according to height, so your shoes are important. If you wish, you may bring your outfits to check out the lights.

Saturday, July 10 - QUEEN CONTEST! Please plan to be at the Conference Center early in the day staying through the events conclusion at approximately 9:30pm. Enter through the front doors and go directly into the classroom to dress. Only contestants and committee members will be allowed in the dressing area and back stage. Prior to the competition each of you will have a vote for Miss Congeniality.
