Youth Talent Competition

What's your talent?

Whether your child has been honing their talent for years or they are just beginning to show interest in a talent, this is a friendly and safe opportunity to exercise their gifts. Registration deadline July 17, 2026. Competition Tuesday July 21 at 6:30 pm. Winners will be eligible for Indiana State Fair Youth Talent Contest.

An entry fee of $10 per section must be submitted with the individual registration form. Group acts will be charged an additional $5 per person after the initial entry fee. There will be a maximum group charge of $35. Those eligible for the Indiana State Fair must handle their own fees and transportation to the Indiana State Fair. Applications can be done online or by paper. The online application/registration can be found here. The paper application is at the bottom of the rules sheet, attached below. The Youth Talent Competition will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 6:30 pm, on the State Bank Entertainment Stage.Check-in is 30 minutes prior to the competition start time.Preregistration is required.Entries must be received by 12:00 pm, Friday July 17.An entry fee of $10 per section must be submitted with the individual registration form.Group acts will be charged an additional $5 per person after the initial entry fee.There will be a maximum group charge of $35. Youth Talent Competition consists of two divisions:
Individuals do not have to reside in Hendricks County to compete in the event but must be an Indiana resident.
Group acts must compete in the division determined by the ages of the majority of group members. No one older than 14 years of age may compete in the Junior Division.

Junior Division: 12 years or less of age

Senior Division: 13-21 years of age (If you are 13 years of age anytime during the year 2026, you must enter the Senior Division.)
